SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION
A highly skilled surgeon, an accomplished events planner, a well-known financial advisor, a top-selling Realtor.
Those are just a few of the 27 outstanding local businesswomen we’re proud to feature in this year’s “Women in Business” section, our annual look at a few good business owners, professionals, and company officers who represent the leading role women have taken in the greater Baltimore business community.
As has been the tradition with this special section, these women’s participation in the section has extra significance: Some of the proceeds from the section will go to the Maryland Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, more affectionately known as Komen Maryland, to support breast cancer research and awareness.
In the pages that follow, the Women in Business supplement offers business owners and executives a fresh venue to introduce themselves to both our readers and to other entrepreneurs.
Ladies, let the networking begin. It’s for a good cause.
