New York Fashion Week has officially begun. Starting today and running until next Thursday, February 14, fashion designers will be showing their fall 2013 collections to the important players of the fashion industry as well as other invited VIP guests and celebs. While most of these shows will be held at Lincoln Center, many will also be at private showrooms, studios, and other venues. There's no doubt that we are excited to see some of our repeated faves who never seem to disappoint, but are also looking forward to discovering fresh, emerging talent in the industry. Debuting last year, the Small Boutique Fashion Week (SBFW) is dedicated to showcasing the work of newer hand-picked designers, giving them the opportunity to connect and work with specialty boutiques and stylists. Keggy Pritsker—which consists of local designer Kerry Leikus and Maryland Academy of Couture Arts founder Ella Pritsker—will be representing Baltimore, showing their new line of vintage-inspired, classic and feminine coats at SBFW on Sunday, February 11 at the New York Metropolitan Pavilion. Part of our style team here at the magazine, Taylor Fuller and Corrine Gasiorowski, will be attending the show and are eager to share all of the details with us next week! In the meantime, check out some of the live streaming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week shows here.
