The privately owned Brick Bodies locations throughout Baltimore are synonymous with a comfortable area for getting fit, or staying that way. State-of-the-art equipment is sure to get its patrons the results they want. These health clubs offer spa areas and phenomenal deals on classes (60 days for $60!)—both group and those with the help of a specialized trainer. The Baltimore-native founders, Lynne and Victor Brick, are expecting to open roughly a dozen new locations within the next five years. Joining the two Lynne Brick’s Clubs (no boys allowed here!) and the four successful Brick Bodies, is the new Padonia location at 58,000 square feet. The pool (which opens today!) at this location is sure to be the main attraction at six lanes wide and 25 meters long. The pool classes—both private and group lessons—will also be introducing yoga techniques to use in the water to innovate your workout and keep that New Year’s resolution a realistic goal.
For the more aqua-phobic, the spin classes offered use MyRide technology—which makes you feel like you are riding through any part of the world, via a screen in the front of the room with Keiser bikes for a smooth ride.
Not to leave out the youngsters, the children’s area of the gym includes a mini basketball court. And for those who are a tad bigger, a climbing maze is installed to use once they need to be pulled away from the many Wii systems provided at the club.
