Simply Noted is Back

After closing its doors in 2010, Simply Noted has re-opened in a new space!

The gift shop, which was previously located in Belvedere Square, is known for its assortment of stationery (including Page Stationery, Dabney Lee, and Kate Spade just to name a few).

The boutique specializes in custom-made invitations for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and other special occasions. Customers can also take advantage of in-store printing services for smaller orders.

In addition to its signature stationery collection, Simply Noted carries a wide variety of gifts, including many personalized items by well-known brands such as Jonathan Adler, Kate Spade, and Toss Designs, along with local lines like ...

Looking back at 2013, here’s a list of what’s been happening in Baltimore’s shopping scene.


We were definitely sad when hearing Lisa Ponzoli was selling her Fells Point women’s boutique Babe. We were happy however to see that she has left it in great hands with Kelley Heuisler (owner of one of our other Fells Point faves, Poppy and Stella). You’ll miss seeing Ponzoli’s face when visiting the store, but Heuisler has kept the same super cute Babe merchandise and equally as helpful and friendly staff. 1716 Aliceanna Street, 410-244-5114.

Holiday Shopping Event: Sip & Shop

WHAT: 5th Annual Sip & Shop

WHEN: Sunday, December 15 from 6 until 9 p.m. 

WHERE: Mother's Grille

DETAILS: Join some of your favorite local boutiques and merchants for an evening of holiday shopping and mingling at the 5th Annual Sip & Shop hosted by Mother's in Federal Hill. Tickets ($20 in advance and $25 at the door) include entrance to the festivities, two glasses of wine, samples of holiday bubbles and cordials, and light fare. WHAT: Fashion Saves Lives

WHEN: Tuesday, December 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. 

WHERE: Port Discovery 

DETAILS: The American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is hosting its first annual Fashion Saves Lives event at Port Discovery, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The show will include models from Johns Hopkins, both medical staff and members of its breast cancer survivorship group, as well as local notable figures like Baltimore Ravens Justin Tucker, fitness entrepreneur Lynne Brick, and WBAL-TV's Sarah Caldwell...

Details: MAKE TRIBE, a series of seasonal workshops, is hosting a holiday market at Artifact Coffee where you can create your own gifts in five speed-crafting workshops while enjoying warm drinks and treats from Artifact Coffee and Hex Ferments. Where: Penn Station Plaza, 1500 N. Charles St.

Details: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday (and next) shop vintage clothing, jewelry, antiques, handmade items, and more at this outdoor flea market, while enjoying food, craft beers, and seasonal mixed drinks. For parking, there's a lot at 21 E. Lanvale St. (behind Penn Station) for $2 all day.
