New Season, New Workout at The MAC

Baltimore magazine

Now that summer is winding down, taking the initiative to get back into the gym on a solid routine could be difficult. The MAC in Timonium is helping to make it easier if you've got some dust collecting on your running shoes with its 8,000 square foot Healthy Start Center.

This program was previously offered only by a physician's request as a way to give patients an extra push with their fitness plan. It's now open to the public for individuals who haven't been to the gym in a while or for those just starting out. The center provides a nurse on hand full time, plus fitness specialists who supervise the workout time, making sure equipment is used properly and efficiently, as well as answer any health-related questions.

The 60-day program allows individuals to use the entire gym for just $60—a great opportunity to get back on a dedicated schedule before the holiday craziness sets in.
