This summer, the 21 and over crowd who dine at the Four Seasons’ Splash Pool Bar & Grill can enjoy adult versions of a famed cool treat: the popsicle. These alcohol-infused popsicles, deemed “poptails,” are the brainchild of Four Seasons beverage manager and master sake sommelier at PABU, Tiffany Soto.
According to Audrey Slade, director of public relations at the Four Seasons, Soto’s “love of ice cream and wine” inspired this grown-up spin on a childhood favorite.
Current flavors—which rotate on a daily basis—include raspberry Beaujolais cheesecake, Baltimore orange crush dreamsicle, pineapple MaiTai, ultimate white Russian, strawberry sage Sauvignon blanc, watermelon rum punch, and a perfectly patriotic red, white, and blue sangria, which will be available on the Fourth of July. Poptails are $9 each.
Later this summer, Soto will be holding a poptail making class. Details are still in the works.
