From showtunes and soul food to DJs and drag shows, there’s no shortage of fun options for Mother’s Day meal time on May 12.

Taste and Turntables: My Mother’s Recipe: Celebrating culture and heritage, this Mother’s Day bash at Harborplace hotspot Crust by Mack will fuse live beats and soul-warming food. Presented by Crust by Mack chef/owner Amanda Mack and the female-run Alpha Female Fest, the event features a three-course meal prepared by three different local chefs, who will all share family recipes that have been passed down to them. The Ultimate Mother’s Day Drag Brunch: Fan-favorite performers Kayden Chloe, Katie D. Lite, Sapphire Dupree, and Pariah Sinclair are back with yet another energetic show planned for you and mom at Guilford Hall Brewery near Penn Station. Hit the ATM for dollar bills and settle in to enjoy the festivities while digging into the brunch spread ($30-40)—which will include eats like crispy bacon, waffles with fruit and whipped cream, and veggie panini bites. Gospel Brunch at the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore: For the grand finale of Rec Pier Chop House’s Gospel Brunch season, the restaurant inside the Fells Point hotel is focusing on the mamas. The Collective Encore: This Maryland Theater Collective performance in Columbia is perfect for music-loving moms. Snag seats to tap your feet to familiar Broadway hits while indulging in a brunch buffet that includes a draft beer or glass of wine. Ananda: Grab mom and head to this Maple Lawn gem for an endless spread of brunch classics and Indian favorites. The special menu will include roasted banana French toast casserole, an omelet station, gravlax, and crab cakes, as well as lamb vindaloo, samosa chaat, palak paneer, and sweet galub jamun.  7421 Maple Lawn Blvd, Fulton. 10:30-2:30 p.m. $39-69

Docks on the Harbor: Treat mom to boozy brunch bash at this Inner Harbor spot. On Mother’s Day, Docks is offering a 90-minute deal on bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and Bloody Marys ($30) with the purchase of an entree. The bottomless menu also includes wine, beer, margaritas, and frozen drinks. 621 E. Pratt St Ste 100. 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Ellie’s Tavern: On Mother’s Day, bring your special lady to the Canton tavern to fill up on eats like crab mac, breakfast burritos, Dutch Babies, or the house griddle sandwich that stacks meat and eggs between two pancakes with syrup. The Four Seasons Baltimore: Go all out for mom by reserving a table at the swanky Harbor East hotel, which is once again offering its Mother’s Day Tea and Tulips brunch buffet. Executive chef Tristian Baker’s menu includes options such as an array of tea sandwiches, charcuterie grazing boards, lox-topped bagels, watermelon and goat cheese salad, wild mushroom risotto, grilled portobello steak with a citrus gremolata, and a chocolate fountain for good measure. Glyndon Grill: The Reisterstown go-to is serving up a lineup of a la carte specials in honor of the special day. Moms can look forward to eats like a challah French toast platter, spinach-mushroom omelet, breakfast skillet, and crab cake omelet. 4844 Butler Rd., Glyndon. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Kneads Bakeshop: The team at this Harbor East cafe is throwing a pre-Mother’s Day tea party on Saturday, May 11. The spring-inspired service includes full pots of tea and tiered towers filled with the bakery’s scratch made pastries and treats. 506 S. Central Ave. 2-4 p.m. $60-110 

Rusty Scupper: Take in Inner Harbor views while chowing down at this seafood staple, well known for its special occasion spreads. Eats on deck include spiced salmon with lobster creme, mussels alla puttanesca, chicken and waffles, carved prime rib, French toast, and peel-and-eat shrimp. VerdeGrab an al fresco table at this Canton favorite to enjoy a special three-course brunch menu on Mother’s Day, which includes a complimentary mimosa, Bloody Mary, coffee, or tea. Mid-morning dishes include brunch versions of the famous Neapolitan pizzas, plus frittatas, paninis, scrambles, and French toast.
