Orioles Magic: Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts held his fifth annual charity event at the Arundel Mills’ Dave and Buster’s, where 450 partygoers bowled, played video games, and mingled with Orioles legends ranging from Boog Powell and Tippy Martinez to Brad Bergesen and Nick Markakis.
It’s Personal: Although Roberts is now a two-time All-Star, he had open-heart surgery at age five for a congenital heart defect, and the Bash, which raised $224,380 for the University of Maryland Hospital for Children, is his way of giving back to the community.
