Move over Chuck E. Cheese's. There's now a spot in town (sans pizza) that's specifically geared toward child development, education and a healthy dose of playtime. Charm City Kids Club (CCKC) in Lutherville was started by Lindsay Klatsky and Stacy Bekman Radz after they moved from New York City to Baltimore and couldn't find an all-in-one place for their kids. "We wanted to bring to Baltimore what many other large cities had in place," Klatsky says. "A child-friendly environment with unique and fun children's classes." CCKC, which opened in July, offers a variety of classes for infants to six-year-olds, including yoga, cooking, massage, handwriting, and a music class featuring a performance by members of the kids' band Milkshake. There's also a play space with a mini-town, pictured, for kids to expand development skills. At CCKC, families can pay $8 per visit or a one-time family membership for $99. "When kids walk in here, they automatically know it's for them," Klatsky says. "Everything—even the size of these tiny buildings—is catered to them."
