Black Friday in Baltimore

As the clock winds down on Thanksgiving, Black Friday is just hours away. We are all aware of the big name stores having door-buster sales, but don't forget to stop by your favorite local shops as well! Here are a few to keep in mind during your big shopping extravaganza.

The New Girl

Hello everyone. For those of you who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, I'm Hilary Geisbert, the new Style Editor at Baltimore magazine. I grew up in Baltimore and call it home to this day. During the summer of my first year at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I took an internship at Baltimore magazine in the Lifestyle department under Janelle Diamond. After college I returned to my hometown, where over the years I had the opportunity to work at several great stores in the area including Urban Chic, Form, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. As one of Janelle's former interns, I am so honored to take on my new role and excited to see what this year will bring!

My hope for the Talk Shop blog is to give you news and updates about everything stylish in Baltimore -- from people, places and stores to cool chic things. If you spot me running around the city, please don't hesitate to chat with me -- I would love to hear your suggestions and feedback!
