A PRESENT FOR ...

a bar geek.

So, these Whiskey Stones were designed by Andrew Hellman—a fan of the single malt scotch—but not a diluted one. The cubes are made from soapstone (milled in Perkinsville, Vermont, the oldest soapstone shop in the US) so all you have to do is pop them in the freezer for a few hours, plunk a few in your drink, let them clink around for a few minutes, and slowly consume. The soapstone is soft so it won't scratch the glass and it can retain it's chilled temperature for a long period of time. They come nine to a set. You can find them a lot of places online for around $20 and we saw them at Red Tree too.—JED
