Athleta (a division of Gap Inc.) is opening its new location at Dulaney Plaza in Towson on Thursday, May 31. The California-based brand, known for their stylish and flattering fits, offers women's athletic and fitness apparel for active lifestyles such as yoga, running, hiking, training, and swimming, as well as free hemming and complimentary fitness classes. To mark their 13th and newest location, Athleta will be making a donation to the local chapter of Girls on the Run, an international organization that encourages pre-teen girls to gain self-respect and confidence through running. Bijoux to Host Rococo Rocks Trunk Show: April 19-21

Starting Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, April 21 Bijoux (located at the Gatehouse at Green Spring Station) will be hosting a Rococo Rocks Trunk Show, showcasing the work of jewelry designer Linda Scherr. Creating bold statement pieces that are either one-of-a-kind or limited edition, Scherr's work has been described as "Coco Chanel meets old Hollywood." She uses elements such as coin and keishi pearls, natural turquoise, Swarovski crystal, and hand-cut crystal quartz to create elegant and timeless pieces ranging from $95-650.
