Stevenson University is hosting their first Fashion Week April 23-27
Starting Monday, April 23 Stevenson University will be holding their first Fashion Week, presented by the Fashion Design program, Black Student Union (BSU), Fashion Design Apparel Club (FAD), and the Baltimore Fashion Alliance (BFA).
Fashion Week Events
WHEN: Monday April 23 from 6-9 p.m.
WHAT: Careers in the Fashion Industry: Reception and Discussion
WHERE: Intercontinental Hotel Harbor Court Baltimore
COST: Free, although donations are welcome
Sponsored by the Baltimore Fashion Alliance, meet Stevenson University Fashion Design advisory board members to learn about various careers in the fashion industry. The board members include representatives from Under Armour, Phelps Design and Development, Anderson-Becker Designs, FRESH! Boutique, and Nordstrom.

WHAT: Fashion Thrifting Presentation
WHERE: Fashion Design Studio, Rockland Center, Owings Mills Campus, 10945 Blvd. Circle

Presented by student Sherie Jones and Fashion Design Technician Erika Yuille, learn the tricks of repurposing used fabrics into new clothing pieces or a fun décor item.

WHAT: Fashion for Hire
WHERE: Wooden Way Lounge, Owings Mills Campus, 10945 Blvd. Circle
COST: Free although seating is limited and registration is required through Mustang Central online, or by contacting Amanda Coleman at 443-852-4122 or acoleman4871@stevenson.edu.
Beverly Hill, personal stylist at Towson Nordstrom and Fashion Design program board member, will be presenting an information session discussing fashion trends and a demonstration of career dressing for rising professionals.

WHAT: Destination Fashion Week Fashion Show
WHERE: Inscape Theatre, Greenspring Campus, 1525 Greenspring Valley Rd.
