Four New Stores to Harbor East

Anthropologie, J.Crew, Lululemon Athletica, and MAC Cosmetics coming to Harbor East

 

Talk of these four retailers coming to Harbor East has been going on for some time now. Today, Christopher Janian, development manager of Harbor East says, "We are excited to officially welcome four major retailers to the Harbor East community." Anthropologie, J.Crew, Lululemon Athletica, and MAC Cosmetics are scheduled to open in late summer 2012. 

Anthropologie will be located at 280 International Drive (Four Seasons Hotel on Katyn Circle). J.Crew will be moving into the Legg Mason Tower at 701 Aliceanna Street. The retail space next to White House Black Market will house Lululemon Athletica, and MAC Cosmetics will be opening where...

Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar opens this Sunday, celebrating their 35th season.


Beginning April 1, and then every Sunday from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. through December, be sure to check out Maryland’s largest producers-only market featuring fruits, poultry, crafts, and collectibles. Loyola University Maryland: 14th Annual Fashion Show

What's your fashion theory?

On Friday March 30th, Loyola University Maryland's Black Student Association will be presenting Theory, the group's 14th Annual Fashion Show. Theory represents the many ideas and principles of fashion, and how individuals interpret them. The annual show is fully run by the student body, including student models, directors, and marketing team.

Patrick Sutton's New Location

Patrick Sutton's Harbor East pop-up shop has moved

 

...But not too far! The home fashion and furnishing store relocated just around the corner, still in the Legg Mason building at 700 President St. The store plans on reopening in their new waterfront pop-up shop spot this Saturday, March 31st.

Destination Fashion Week at Stevenson University

Stevenson University is hosting their first Fashion Week April 23-27

4th Annual EcoBall

On March 16th the 4th annual EcoBall presented by Baltimore Green Works was held at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum. This event encouraged attendees to get creative with their attire while putting a bit of a "green" twist to it—shopping consignment, revisiting pieces in their closets, or for those DIY folks, making something from recycled materials found around the house. Autism Awareness Month

Local designer features puzzle pins for Autism Awareness Month 

 

Claudine Intner, a local artist from Annapolis, has designed special puzzle piece pins and pendants in honor of April being Autism Awareness Month. Intner is a mother of three boys, including one child with autism. Intner specializes in mixed media collages, mostly focusing on mothers and children. Bright colors and bold prints are a staple of Intner's art. Her Etsy shop includes original art, prints, jewelry, and more. —Margaret Dyer, intern

Fashion Awards MD


 

 

 

   

The idea "came to her in a dream," says founder Lana Rae. After years of being involved with fashion shows and events she finally decided to create her own. "Fashion Awards MD will be a night to highlight, celebrate, and recognize the talent of Maryland's fashion industry, including emerging talent, trail blazers, and industry celebrities. The amount of talent we have here in our home state is overwhelming, and I'm so excited to be able to have us all come together and be inspired by one another," says Rae.
