"They're an excellent way to do a more full-body, core, explosive workout," says Ali True, a veteran personal trainer at Merritt's Downtown Athletic Club (and a certified kettlebell instructor). "You use the entire body to control this bell." Clubs in major U.S. cities are offering classes already, and while there are none in Charm City yet, "I think Baltimore's ready for it," says True.
